WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — The town of Westfield is once again preparing to host the Indianapolis Colts training camp.

The dates of this year’s training camp have not been announced yet, but they will be revealed soon.

Westfield and the Colts will host a training camp announcement party on Wednesday, June 26 from 6-9 p.m. EDT. The event will take place at Grand Junction Plaza.

Colts fans will also be in attendance at the event. On the main stage you will be able to listen to live music with The 1985 Band.

“We are excited to work with the Colts to make the schedule release a more community-focused event,” Mayor Willis said in a news release. “That was exactly the vision for Grand Junction Plaza – to be a gathering place for our community.”

The event will also feature food trucks, drink specials, photo opportunities and Colts giveaways.

Resident parking will be available at the southwest corner of Poplar and Park streets. Free shuttle service to Westfield Intermediate School will also be available.

The Colts are preparing for their second season under head coach Shane Steichen.

Last year, Indianapolis finished the year with an overall record of 9-8, good enough to finish third in the AFC South standings.

Last week, the Colts completed their mandatory minicamp at the team’s complex, the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center.

Their preseason opener will take place on Sunday, August 11 against the Denver Broncos. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 PM EDT at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts will open the regular season on Sunday, September 8 at 1:00 PM ET at Lucas Oil Stadium against the Houston Texans.
