Police have identified the woman murdered outside a Waffle House in North Austin

Police have identified the woman who was shot and killed last weekend in the parking lot of a Waffle House in North Austin.

On June 8, at approximately 6:01 a.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the 12300 block of Dessau Road.

When they arrived, they found Tykeisha Lewis suffering from a gunshot wound. Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services took her to the hospital, where she died at 8:21 a.m

The second woman was also hit by gunfire. Her condition is stable.

Detectives say Lewis was shot by a group of men who were arguing with a group that had two victims. The suspects fled the scene.
