One person is dead in a shooting in southeast Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – One person is dead following a shooting Tuesday afternoon in southeast Columbus.

A police dispatcher said a report of a shooting was received at 5600 Chatterton Road near Blacklick at 1:20 p.m. One victim was located and pronounced dead at 1:29 p.m

Columbus police are on scene investigating the shooting. No further information is known at this time.
