The Baltimore Orioles Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise and asset management company T. Rowe Price have announced a multi-year partnership that makes T. Rowe Price the exclusive investment and asset management sponsor of the baseball team.

The agreement includes a uniform patch with the T. Rowe Price logo on the sleeve of Orioles players’ jerseys for all regular-season and postseason games.

Additionally, the sponsorship agreement includes stadium signage, media and hospitality assets, in-game activations, community programs and a brand presence at the Orioles’ spring training facility in Sarasota, Florida.

The collaboration was supported by Elevate and Allied Sports agencies.

Rob Sharps, CEO and president of T. Rowe Price, said: “T. Rowe Price has called Baltimore home since our founding. We are deeply committed to the city, and so is the Orioles organization.

“We are very excited to invest in our family team and our community and believe this partnership will help us attract more customers in the coming years.”

TJ Brightman, senior vice president and chief revenue officer of the Orioles, added: “We are excited to partner with T. Rowe Price and welcome them as the first organization to associate their name and brand with our uniforms.”

The Orioles are currently in second place in the five-team MLB American League East and have 43 wins in 2024.

In March, MLB unanimously approved the sale of the Orioles to a consortium led by American businessman David Rubenstein.

Meanwhile, it appeared the Orioles were set to vacate the field at Camden Yards in 2023 until a new 30-year stadium lease was agreed to at the last minute with the Maryland Stadium Authority.

The lease extension also includes provisions for the redevelopment of the areas surrounding Camden Yards, as well as improvements to the stadium facilities, which will be a boon for the team’s future new ownership group.
