Bond was revoked due to a Kelly man arrested for a second time in Columbus County on drug charges.

Jordan Tyree Johnson, 21, of 1131 White Oak Rd., Kelly, was arrested on charges of maintaining a vehicle for drug-related purposes, engaging in traffic and trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, possession of narcotics in custody and carrying a concealed weapon. Detention Center records show he was being held without bail.

The sheriff’s office said deputies stopped a Johnson car on Old Stake Road after noticing the vehicle’s license plate was invalidated and a sequestration order was issued. The report states that deputies initiated a traffic stop and Johnson pulled over to the side of the road.

The report states that while Johnson was getting his driver’s license, deputies saw a bag in Johnson’s pocket containing what appeared to be methamphetamine. He then allegedly tried to cover his pocket, at which point deputies instructed him to get out of the car.

The report states that while searching Johnson, officers found a bag of methamphetamine, a bag of crack cocaine and a Glock 43X handgun.

During the interview, Johnson “went to retrieve money from the sock on his left foot and retrieved a yellow baggie containing two grams of methamphetamine,” the report said.

After his arrest in March, Johnson was free on bail awaiting trial. Court records show Johnson was arrested at Hallsboro City Park on Red Bug Road after complaints about drug activity in the area. He was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle for drug purposes, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver drugs within 1,000 feet of a public park, possession of a firearm within the county and possession of drugs. gear. During the arrest, deputy narcotics agents seized three firearms and a quantity of narcotics from his vehicle.

Johnson was released after his March arrest on $5,000 bail.
