QUOTE | Head coach Jason Hooten

“This time last year we still needed a lot of players. Signing the contract with Carl gives us 13 years and we are able to invite everyone to the start of summer training next week. Carl reminds me a lot of Javion May, who I think everyone knows what Javion meant to me personally and to our teams at Sam Houston. He will be an elite defender and rebounder from day one. His ability to drop down and play in transition are other strengths he showed in his limited playing time Carl has so much untapped offensive potential last season in Memphis, and his maturity and durability will help this basketball team make a big leap.
