ACC Elgin campus closed; Crews are working to repair a water main break

ELGIN, Texas – The Elgin campus of Austin Community College (ACC) is closed Tuesday due to a water main break.

ACC said repairs to the main are ongoing, but all classes, work and activities are canceled due to the campus closure.

All other ACC campuses and centers remain open and operating as normal. The university said it will post updates on its website and on its Facebook and X pages.

In Bastrop County, residents living north of FM 696 and west of State Highway 95 are being asked to boil water after a water main broke Tuesday. This is the second boil water order issued in the county in less than a week.
