INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Taste of Indy food festival returns in 2024, and organizers hope it will be bigger than ever.

The organizer of the festival is Nidhi Parehk-Patel. She joined Life.Style.Live! crew along with Iozzo’s Garden of Italy owner Katie Harris to help prepare the event.

Iozzo’s will have meatball martinis and cannoli for sale at Taste of Indy.

The meatball martini mirrors the dish served at the restaurant. They will be serving a smaller version for Taste of Indy.

A total of 25 restaurants will take part in the one-day festival.

This event is the largest food festival in India.

Parehk-Patel says this is the first time since the pandemic that they are trying to bring Taste of Indy back for a large event of this scale.

The locally hosted festival is a vibrant community celebration showcasing the area’s best restaurants, businesses and artists.

Attendees can take part in interactive chef demonstrations, relax in the wine and beer garden, and experience family entertainment, including all-day concerts and a dedicated children’s play area.

Entry Tickets are $15 each and are available now at www.tasteofindy.org.

Children up to 10 years old are free.

Food tickets are $1 per ticket and can be redeemed for food, beverages and alcohol during the event.

They are also looking for volunteers to help organize the event.

Volunteers will receive free admission to Taste of Indy, as well as a meal pass to enjoy great food.

The festival will take place on Saturday, July 6 at White River State Park.
