Southwest Airlines announces the addition of an Atlanta-Austin flight ahead of Georgia football heading to Texas in 2024.

In 2024, the Georgia Football team will travel to Austin for its first SEC game against the Texas Longhorns. In fact, this is one of the most anticipated regular season games in college football.

Southwest Airlines understands this. As part of a limited-time flight offer during the football season, the carrier will offer a route from Atlanta to Austin for fans looking to head west.

“Thinking about following the route of your favorite college football team this season? Southwest Airlines just made it easier for you to watch six marquee fights in September and October with additional flights,” Southwest Airlines said in a press release on its website. “On key weekends, we added additional connections between New Orleans and Las Vegas, Nashville and Oklahoma City, and Atlanta and Austin. In addition, new connections are being launched between Austin and Detroit, Birmingham and Milwaukee, and Columbus and Portland, Ore.

In other words, no excuses not to be there, Longhorn fans.
