Obituary of Denise Curb – American statesman from Austin

Denise Davis Curb died on June 7, 2024 after a short illness. She was born on September 23, 1937 in Austin. She graduated from Austin High School in 1955 and married her beloved Bobby Jack Curb, who died in 2012. Bobby had a long career with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Denise had a distinguished career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her brother, John M. Davis; nephews, Ryan Davis, Chad Davis and their families, as well as several loving relatives on Curb.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Westminster Skilled Nursing.

Services will be held at Cook Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar on Friday, June 14 with visitation at 12:00 p.m. and services at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Capital Parks Cemetery at 3 p.m., 14501 N. Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas.
