New renderings of Nashville Yards feature green space, pickleball and a theater

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — New photos show a piece of the vision for Nashville Yards.

Overall, Nashville Yards is a 19-acre, mixed-use development. Nashville architects Gresham Smith and Southwest Value Partners are responsible for this part of the plan. It stretches from Broadway around the Union Station Hotel and behind the Grand Hyatt to Church Street.

The greenway is called Ascension Saint Thomas Landing and has grassy, ​​elevated areas for seating as well as outdoor tables and chairs. Plus an amphitheater and toilet construction.

The second part of the newly submitted plan covers the area around Union Station and under Broadway. A new staircase will lead you downstairs, where you will find a flexible event space. The visuals also show couches, picnic tables, a bar and a projection screen.
