Latina McClure punches a cop in the face for arresting her brother – Scoop: Nashville

Latina McClure, 30, and her brother Gerald McClure were escorted from Rippy’s Bar around 7 p.m. on June 9^vol. After being removed for intoxication, Gerald approached the hot dog vendor and began yelling at him with racial slurs. The officers tried to calm him down, but he continued to behave disorderly, so they detained him, and Latina intervened. They told her to leave or she would go to jail, to which she responded by turning away from the officers and then punching one of them in the face. Latina was then arrested for disorderly conduct, consuming alcohol in a public place, and assaulting an officer.

Latina I. McClure, of Jamie Drive in Centerville, Tenn., was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 9 on charges of assault on an officer, disorderly conduct and public intoxication. He is released on $3,100 bail.
