Juventus and two South American clubs join Racing Louisville FC on the Women’s Cup pitch at Lynn Family Stadium |  FC Louisville City

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Women’s Cup will return to Louisville’s Lynn Family Stadium later this year, with three international teams competing against Racing Louisville FC.

From August 9 to 13, Racing will host Juventus from Italy, Palmeiras from Brazil and Colo-Colo from Chile.

The tournament prize pool will be $100,000.

“We are proud to bring the best of international women’s soccer back to Louisville for the fourth summer edition of the Women’s Cup…” said JP Reynal, CEO of the Women’s Cup, in a press release. “As the women’s game continues to grow around the world, we are expanding our reach to provide teams across continents with opportunities to play compelling matches.”

Juventus and Colo-Colo will face each other on Friday, August 9 at 5:00 p.m., followed by Racing and Palmeiras at 8:00 p.m.

The championship game will be played on Tuesday, August 13 at 8 p.m. The match for third place will be played earlier at 5:00 p.m

This is the third time Racing Louisville FC has hosted the Women’s Cup. In 2022, they lost to OL Reign 1-0 in the final after beating AC Milan. In 2021, Racing defeated FC Bayern to win the cup.
