Austin Butler is part of the star cast of “The Bikeriders,” which premieres on June 21.

Bikers is a film about a 1960s Midwest motorcycle club that hits theaters on June 21. The film was inspired by the book of the same name, originally published in 1968, which chronicled the characters and exploits of the Chicago Outlaws Motorcycle Club as it transitioned into a friendly association with the motorcycle gang.

Film adaptation directed by Jeff Nichols (Loving; Midnight special; Mud), who also wrote the screenplay for several years. The film stars Austin Butler (Elvis; Dune: Part 2), Tom Hardy (Mad Max: Fury Road; Apparition), Norman Reedus (The walking dead) and Jodie Comer (Killing Eve; The last duel).

Kevin Duke, editor-in-chief of our sister publication, American Rider, had the opportunity to watch an advanced screening of the film, after which he had the opportunity to interview the actors and director.

“I always have my doubts about the Hollywood portrayal of motorcycles, but after seeing a preview of this new film, I was very impressed with the production value and acting,” Duke said. “Great performances throughout, especially Hardy as club leader ‘Johnny’ and Comer, Butler’s beloved ‘Benny’. All motorcycles are 1960s models, faithfully reproduced from the era, and their authentic sounds literally rumble in the theater seats.”

Watch these interviews to find out just how much effort went into bringing vintage motorcycles to the big screen. And go to cinemas on June 21 to see the film with your own eyes! Subscribe to our channel to receive notifications of all new videos.
