Golden Park is a landmark moment for the Columbus AA Atlanta Braves

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – A groundbreaking ceremony is taking place at Golden Park for the future home of the Columbus AA Atlanta Braves.

In December, the Columbus City Council voted to approve a multi-million dollar stadium renovation project, all in preparation for the arrival of the Double A Atlanta Brave affiliate to the Fountain City.

The cost of modernizing the stadium is almost $50 million.
