Fugitive caught trying to escape from Nashville airport

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 35-year-old wanted woman from Colorado was arrested Monday before boarding a flight out of Nashville International Airport.

Court documents state that officers were notified that the woman, identified as Katherine Craner, was possibly leaving BNA on an American Airlines flight.

Craner was wanted on two drug arrest warrants and was subject to nationwide extradition from Jefferson County, Colorado.

According to the arrest warrant, the officer intercepted Craner as she tried to board the plane at Gate C16 and identified her by her driver’s license and passport. Craner’s final destination was Europe.

Craner was booked into the Metro Jail and charged with fugitive from justice. Her bail was set at $250,000.
