Denver weather forecast for June 11 |  News

Denver’s weather forecast will be sunny and hot Tuesday, with highs in the mid-80s, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.

Expect sunny skies on Tuesday with a high of 85 degrees. Winds will be from the east at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

“Isolated thunderstorms are expected mainly west and south of Denver during the late afternoon and early evening,” the NWS said. “Most storms will produce short-duration rain, but the strongest storms could produce heavy rain, hail up to an inch in diameter and wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour. This risk is greatest on the plains south of Castle Rock and Limon between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Temperatures will remain relatively warm Tuesday night into Wednesday, with a forecast low of 62 degrees. In wind gusts it can reach speeds of up to 17 km/h.

Temperatures are expected to climb into the mid-90s on Wednesday and continue through Thursday. Showers will return on Friday afternoon.

Saturday: Forecasts call for a slight chance of afternoon rain. Expect a high of 88 degrees.

Sunday: There is a slight chance of afternoon rain. Expect sunny skies and a high of 93 degrees.
