Dallas native Sha’Carri Richardson is starring in the Olympic campaign with POWERADE

DALLAS (KDAF) — Ahead of the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympic Games, POWERADE announced its latest “IT TES MORE” campaign. Building on the brand’s existing narrative and current Olympics foundation, the new national marketing campaign features recently announced POWERADE partners, star athletes and fan favorites Sha’Carri Richardson and Katie Grimes, as they set their sights on winning gold for Team United States.

The IT TES MORE campaign highlights the years of dedication, sacrifice and preparation that athletes around the world put in behind the scenes to reach the biggest stage in the world, and aims to inspire the next generation to continue to pursue their goals.


As the official sports drink of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, POWERADE will be available regularly
on the margins of all events.

Considered one of the fastest women of all time, Dallas native Sha’Carri Richardson is the reigning U.S. 100-meter champion and will be looking to leave a lasting mark on the international racing scene at this year’s Olympic Games.

“What is work and the number of reps you do at the starting line when no one is watching
ultimately make the difference at the finish line. That’s what makes the difference when the headlight is on. As you’ll see in this new spot, POWERADE hydrates me every step of the way… when everything’s on the cherry,” said Richardson.

“IT TES MORE” will include activations on national television, digital creative, social media,
and expanding retail sales in the run-up to and during the Olympic Games, which run from July 26 to August 11. The first spot will debut on national television on Monday, June 24 on NBC ahead of the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony.
