Dallas firefighters save a family from an apartment fire

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) – Dallas firefighters rescued a family trapped in a burning apartment.

Three people were rescued from a fire in Dallas, east of the US-67 and I-20 interchange at Regal Crossing Apartments. Firefighters responded to smoke coming from the second floor of a two-story apartment where a man, a woman and a child were trapped.

Authorities managed to reach the people via a ladder leading to the second-floor balcony, and fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Dallas Fire-Rescue prevented damage to any of the other eight units in the building.
