Craig Conover demonstrates sewing in south Nashville ahead of opening

Craig Conover’s second Sewing Down South location is almost ready!

On June 10, o Southern charm the cast member shared an update on their soon-to-open store in Nashville, Tennessee. “We still have some work to do at Nashville Sewing Down South,” he said in an Instagram story, standing in front of a wall decorated with cowboy boots, a hat and guitar patterns. Although the rest of the room was still being worked on, an off-camera person announced, “It’ll be ready.”

As Craig explained in his video, the store’s grand opening is scheduled for Saturday, June 15.

Craig announced the location of his second store in April, teasing on his Instagram Story: “We have a new community we’re joining (…) Sewing Down South is growing and becoming another of my favorite towns.”

A few weeks later, he shared an update on the store’s progress as he and Shep Rose began the demo process. “Thanks to Shep Rose, we broke ground at SDS Nashville!” – Craig exclaimed in the video.

Craig Conover reveals Sewing Down South is an ‘eight-figure business’

In part 1 Southern charmduring the Season 9 reunion, which aired in January, Craig shared exciting details about his company.

“In four years, I’ve grown Sewing Down South into an eight-figure company and we’re now in Kroger stores across the country,” Craig told host Andy Cohen. “We have 30 employees with health insurance.”

Craig talked about the impressive progress he’s made in the business in Season 9, Episode 3 Southern charm.

“Siewing Down South has just grown exponentially and it’s been amazing to go from selling from my dining room to an e-commerce site and a flagship store,” he said in the Sept. 28, 2023 episode. “We now have enough inventory to have our own warehouse. So move over, Martha Stewart. I will stay here”.

In episode 13 of the same season, Craig told Madison LeCroy, “It’s getting so big that I can’t work remotely (from New York) anymore. The company has ties to Charleston. Our warehouse is located here. That’s where our design studio is located.”

In preparation for the exciting opening, Craig shared on Instagram on June 10 that he “commutes to work every day” between Nashville and Charleston.
