Charlotte Motor Speedway Summer Shootout: Schedule and Live Stream

CONCORD, N.C. – The action-packed 31st anniversary Cook Out Summer Shootout season heats up as future racing stars battle it out in Legend Cars and Bandoleros on the front yard of historic Charlotte Motor Speedway this summer.

Cook Out Summer Shootout is a weekly race held in June and July featuring up to seven drivers competing head-to-head against the best amateur racetracks in the country. Now big names in NASCAR, former Summer Shootout participants such as Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano have cut their teeth in the Legend Car and Bandolero ranks. This summer, future generations of NASCAR stars will be looking to make a name for themselves.

This Monday and Tuesday, more than 150 of the world’s best amateur competitors will compete on the famous quarter-mile oval distance in the first competition of the eight-week series. Each night will feature qualifying and racing in eight different categories as drivers look to cement their legacy as Shootout Champions.

But these are just some of the attractions fans can expect this summer at America’s Home for Racing. Weekly theme nights, fan-friendly games and engaging Cook Out Summer Shootout activities provide entertainment for the whole family on and off the track.
