Award-winning New Orleans restaurateur opens in Nashville | Development

The roughly 700-square-foot food and beverage building with an address of 800 Meridian Street would focus on outdoor seating.

Hereford has not announced a planned opening time for the Nashville location, which would be its first restaurant outside New Orleans. It will be hosted by Hereford and his wife, Lauren Agudo. Turkey and Wolf chef Will Mondros will move to Nashville to serve as executive chef at the new location. In March, Germantown Barrel Proof at Nashville Turkey and the Wolf hosted a pop-up.

The Meridian Street location in 2019 was beta testing for BarkPark, a membership-based dog park. Local real estate investor Elliott Kyle is part of the property ownership group and facilitated the deal, the details of which are unclear.

Turkey and the Wolf was named America’s Best New Restaurant in 2017, and Hereford was a semifinalist for Best Chef in the South in the 2019 James Beard Awards.
