A man allegedly tried to sexually assault a woman in Osmarea Dr.

AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department (APD) is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who investigators say tried to sexually assault a woman while walking her dog in March.

APD said that on March 30 around 9 p.m., a woman was walking her dog on Osmarea Drive in northwest Austin, near Cedar Park, when a man exposed himself. The man then allegedly attempted to commit a sexual assault before leaving the area on foot towards Eucalyptus Boulevard.

According to the description, the man is between 17 and 25 years old. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall and slim. He was last seen wearing dark basketball shorts, a light T-shirt, a hat and glasses.
