1 child rescued from house fire on Westside Jacksonville: JFRD

JACKSONVILLE, FL. – The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department is responding to a house fire at the Taylor Field development on Jacksonville’s west side.

The child, in a serious condition, was pulled from the flames and taken to a nearby hospital.

JFRD said the Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fire and the Red Cross was called for two adults and two children.
