Locally produced film ‘Ride’ will make its Nashville debut

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An award-winning film from several local producers hits the big screen in its Nashville premiere.

“Ride” follows three generations of bull riders in Texas as they raise money to transfer the family’s daughter to a better cancer hospital.

The film will premiere next Thursday in Nashville and will be released in theaters and on demand on Friday.

To discuss the film, AM Extra was joined by producers Nidal Kahl and Brev Moss of Pine Bay Pictures, as well as lead actor and director Jake Allyn and screenwriter Josh Plasse.
