Austin Warren Begins Rehab – MLB News

15 seconds agoSan Francisco Giants right-hander Austin Warren (elbow) has already made extensive minor league relief appearances in the Arizona Complex League as he returns from Tommy John surgery. The 28-year-old signed a one-year, $755,000 contract with the Giants on Feb. 14 and could help boost the team’s bottom line when he finally recovers. Warren posted a 3.55 ERA in 32 career appearances for the Los Angeles Angels from 2021-2023, also recording a 1.24 WHIP, one save, 10 walks and 31 strikeouts in 38 innings of relief. If Warren can avoid setbacks in the minors during his rehab, he could return to make his debut for the Giants in 2024 before the All-Star break in mid-July.
