Former CT TV News Reporter Finds New Job in Boston

Eliza Kruczynski previously worked at WFSB – Channel 3.

CONNECTICUT — Boston native Eliza Kruczynski has returned home.

The veteran television reporter, who spent the last two years at WFSB – Channel 3, started a new job at 7News – WHDH in Boston on Monday.

“Reporting in Boston has been a lifelong dream of mine and now that dream is a reality!” Kruczynski wrote on Facebook.

Kruczynski announced last month that she was leaving WFSB, and The Laurel suggested the reason for her departure was to join an undisclosed station in Boston.

At WHDH, Kruczynski joined former Connecticut news reporter Dave Puglisi, who recently recovered from a spinal injury he suffered after being hit by a vehicle.

Kruczynski, a graduate of Quinnipiac University, worked as an anchor and reporter at a television station in Augusta, Georgia, for several years before joining WFSB.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this team,” Kruczynski wrote of joining WHDH. “Happy to be home.”
