Update

According to a press release, CMPD officers have identified three suspects in connection with the murder of Corey Robinson and obtained warrants for their arrests.

Lasha Eagle, 37, was arrested on July 2 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and charged with fraud and identity theft.

Ayyad Sukkar, 24, was arrested on July 5 in Memphis, Tennessee, and charged with murder, robbery, bank card theft and motor vehicle theft.

Tracey Sukkar, 50, was arrested on July 9 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and charged with fraud and identity theft.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The June 14 death of 36-year-old Corey Robinson has been officially classified as a homicide and remains under investigation, according to a news release.

The release stated that CMPD officers found Robinson dead on North Graham Street on June 14 at 2:08 p.m. After further investigation by homicide detectives and a search of the crime scene, the evidence was classified as a homicide, CMPD said.
