Suspect in Hickory Hill Walgreens Car Theft

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police are searching for two men accused of stealing a car last week at a Walgreens store in the Hickory Hill neighborhood.

Police said just before 1:30 p.m. they went to the Walgreens store at 3670 Riverdale Road where the victim’s car was stolen.

Surveillance footage captured the suspects in a red sedan pulling up in front of the victim’s Infiniti and then exiting armed with handguns.

That’s when they can be seen approaching the driver’s door and forcibly pulling the victim out of the truck.

Both suspects got into the Infiniti and drove away from the scene, with the suspect’s red sedan following them.

MPD says no one has been arrested yet.
