Louisville American Football Players in EA Sports College Football Top 100 Ranking

Cornerback Quincy Riley and defensive end Ashton Gillotte represent the Louisville football team as top 100 players in the “EA Sports College Football 25” video game.

While players have already been notified of their inclusion, the company announced the top 100 on Wednesday, with each institution’s roster of 85 players set to be released later that day ahead of the video game’s July 19 release. Players were selected after opting in to be included, though not all who opted in made it into the game. Those who made the virtual roster received at least $600 and a copy of the video game.

Riley is the highest-rated Cardinal, fourth-best cornerback in the country and fifth-best player in the ACC, ranking 42nd with an overall grade of 92. His grades in specific categories include speed (92), acceleration (96), strength (59), awareness (89) and leap (95).

Like Riley, Gillotte decided to return to Louisville this season. He was the first publicly known Louisville player to be included after being named one of five college football athletes in the EA Sports CFB Heisman Hopeful Pack. Finishing third among left defensive tackles, Gillotte received an overall grade of 90 and ranked 72nd among all players. He also received grades of 84 (speed), 93 (acceleration), 87 (power), 91 (awareness) and 88 (jump).

The ACC had 15 players on the EA Sports Top 100 list. Miami had the most with three selections, while the Cardinals, North Carolina and Clemson had two each.
