Kaley Rammelsberg, former Indiana volleyball player, signs with Columbus Fury

Indiana volleyball graduate Kaley Rammelsberg has signed a free agent contract with Columbus Fury, one of seven teams part of the Pro Volleyball Federation, July 10 Fury announced on X.

Rammelsberg was a dominant center during her time with the Hoosiers, hitting .365 and notching 110 blocks in her final season as a 2023 sophomore. She was also named to the All-Big Ten second team during the campaign.

“I can’t wait to play alongside the best fighters in the world while being coached at the highest level,” Rammelsburg said in a Fury press release.

This will be Rammelsburg’s second season in professional volleyball, but it will be her first time playing in the Pro Volleyball Federation, as she signed with Finland’s LiigaPloki this spring for her first season.

Fury coach Ángel Pérez had high praise for Rammelsburg.

“She had an incredible season at Indiana in 2023 and had a great first professional season overseas,” Pérez said in a statement. “We are excited to have this local talent, Kaley is a perfect fit.”

Last year, the Fury had their worst record in the 2024 season, finishing 8-16 and failing to make the playoffs.
