Eric Reibe, Class of 2025 center, receives Louisville men’s basketball offer

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky – Another top prospect from the class of 2025 has been tapped as a target for the Louisville men’s basketball team.

Potomac (Mary) Bullis center Eric Reibe announced Tuesday that he has received a scholarship offer to play for the Cardinals.

Reibe has attracted the attention of a number of major programs during his recruiting career. He has nearly 40 scholarship offers, with teams like UConn, Kansas, Indiana, North Carolina, Kentucky and others offering him scholarships.

Given his rare combination of size and talent, it’s easy to see why so many big men are interested in Reibe. At 7 feet tall and 235 pounds, the big man ranks as high as the 26th prospect in the country, according to ESPNand enters as recruit no. 40 according to 247Sports Complex.

Arriving as the No. 83 overall prospect in the Composite in mid-May, Reibe had a fantastic offseason and has been on the rise ever since. In June, he averaged 19.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game at the NBPA Top 100 camp in Orlando, where Louisville staff scouted him. Reibe also had a standout performance on the Puma PRO16/NXT circuit.

Reibe is now the 20th 2025 prospect to receive an offer from Louisville, with the majority of the offers coming in the past two months following the hiring of head coach Pat Kelsey.
