The Blank Center, located at the University of Texas at Austin, will begin classes Thursday, July 11, with a morning session (9:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.) for speech-language pathologists and students. The training delves into the multifaceted nature of stuttering and the innovative CARE model.

Friday, July 12th is a time of true magic. From 9am to 5pm, children and teens aged 5-17 will be able to join in a day full of fun and inspiring activities.

The CARE model stands for Communication, Advocacy, Resiliency, and Education. It is designed to help young people who stutter speak confidently, communicate effectively, and advocate for themselves.

Caregivers, you are invited too! Join us from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. to learn about year-round support and tips for advocacy.

Dr. Courtney Byrd, Founder and Executive Director, believes that stuttering should not prevent anyone from living their life to the fullest. The Blank Center’s approach is to embrace unique speech patterns and build strong communication skills.

Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to support the El Paso stuttering community! Walk-ins will be accepted, but if you would like to register early or for more information, please email [email protected] or call (512) 475-6174.
