Broadway newcomers Austin Rankin and Eric Williams will join the MJ cast, taking turns playing the role of “Little Michael.” Austin, a native of Las Vegas, made his Broadway debut on Tuesday, June 18. Eric, from Georgia, will start performing on Tuesday, July 16.

The production currently stars Elijah Rhea Johnson as “MJ.”

Since beginning performances in December 2021, the Broadway production has been seen by over one million viewers and has broken box office records at the Neil Simon Theater 11 times.
