The 5 best prop bets for the Dallas Mavericks vs. NBA Finals game. Boston Celtics 5

After the Dallas Mavericks lost the series 3-0 to the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals, it was unclear how long the season would last. They defeated the Celtics, dismantling them in Dallas in Game 4 to extend the series.

Now the NBA Finals return to Boston and the Celtics have a chance to hoist the No. 18 banner in front of their fans. Luka Doncic and the Mavericks are going for a spoiler by extending the series to Game 6 and the final game in Dallas.

The rest of the series will be an uphill climb for the Mavericks, but they are focused on winning more games.

Luka Doncic UNDER 3.5 3 points (-102)

Doncic mentioned it in games one and two. He then went 1 of 15 on three-pointers in his final two games. He made seven attempts in Game 3 and eight in Game 4, making just one three-pointer in that time. He will certainly return to form in some respects, but his team is playing much better and he won’t have to shoot double-digit threes, which makes it much less likely that he will be able to defend this prop.

Dereck Lively OVER 8.5 rebounds (-122)

Lively has been jumping better and better in the last two games of the NBA Finals. With two straight double-doubles and playing 30 and 22 minutes in both contests, Lively’s influence was strong. Due to the recent increase in production and minutes, a bigger role for the rookie can be expected. Lively may not be a 20-point threat every night, but his impact as an anchor and on the boards will be felt. If he plays more than 25 minutes this evening, expect another double-digit rebound for Lively.

Kyrie Irving OVER 23.5 points (-118)

The last two games have shown that the situation has turned around for Irving. He surpassed 20 points in Game 3, scoring 35 for the first time in these NBA Finals. In Game 4, Irving scored only 21 points, hitting 10 of 18 shots. If he hadn’t been pulled from the game in the 3rd quarter due to the big lead they had, he would have taken over. However, he broke the losing streak against the Celtics. Irving should be able to continue his improved play once he returns to Boston.

Derrick White OVER 3.5 3 points (+130)

In 13 of his last 15 appearances – and in each of his last nine – White has attempted at least eight three-pointers. Thanks to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown’s gravitas as a duo, White gets plenty of looks from beyond the arc on a nightly basis. He is also a great shooter. Nothing went right for the Celtics in Game 4, and White adds energy. In front of his home crowd, White will convert from deep more often.

Luka Doncic recorded a double-double (-170)

It’s not ideal for the Mavericks to be against the wall and only have one win in the series. However, this means that the team will have a decisive match against Luka for the rest of the series, whether it be one or three more games. He recorded a double-double in each of the team’s first two games against the Celtics, but failed to reach double digits in rebounds or assists in the last two games. With the Celtics likely to bounce back at home, Doncic will need more. To keep the season alive, expect Doncic to round out the scoring.
